Funny how i made gif file out of my illustration lol.

Well i don't know google+ made it up for me.

so I've refined lines and colored in details more..

contrasted colors of the globe as well to make it more moody and dramatic.

The critique that i got from my friend was that the breath looked too ordinary 

and if they are fighting it should be more spectacle. 

In last class Matt talked about northern lights on arctic sky 

I've added something more to my concept.

so the northern light on the arctic sky isn't actually a northern light

but it is actually a fire breath and dragon's shadow reflected from the space.

but because we are humans and the dragons are mighty/Godly creature(concept)

we can't really see them properly unless we go out the space.

some ref images that I've looked at.

so I've added blue flame and made it look like..

this (at least I've tried)

-Added crater on the moon

Changed green dragon into black dragon (so it looks bad and nasty/cold)

blue dragon is the protector of the earth! (Totally my concept)

made the fire breath spread out a bit more

added more color into the breath

killed crater contrast so i could get more emphasis on top.

Then more contrast on earth and breath.

so this was the poster that i took for last Friday's class.

Unfortunately you can't see big difference from here but i worked on some details

1. Changed Globe color into more warmer color.

1. Than i change contrast of the globe&Flame

2. Changed star color into white and clearer shape.

I think this was about it for last Friday's class.

so Matt and Claire wanted me to make dragon's color into more unlikely color on earth

ex) Blue/Chinese dragon green

so it is more God figured and the color pops out of the space/background more

+add crater on the moon

Basically my setting for story narration poster is outside the universe.

I started to look at the atmosphere.

Unlike most of peaceful galaxy that has been referenced it will be more rough and dynamic.

I'll have to make highlights in orange/red color to show that the earth is actually being heated up by the fire breath.

some creatures that i have been studying..

the creature that i will study and explore.

Refined idea

so this is my refined idea.. and tutor seemed to like it! which is really good.

I will have to explore more on this.

THE THINGS THAT I HAVE TO FIX

1. meteor have to go behind dragons

2. It will be good if i show planet exploding behind  two dragons.

3. astronaut needs basement to stand on (like moon)

so draw moon at the bottom of the page.

4.draw exact map of continents on earth so it is obvious that the earth is earth.

First concept

My original idea was 

At first the setting was based on Egypt.

So basically dark wizard in Egypt cursed earth to melt because God of sun wanted to overtake the earth.

then i came across idea of phoenix in the universe trying to do bad things to earth so it sat on the planet. Therefore the spot that phoenix sat melted.

I realized it was getting too complicated therefore I chose to change my idea a bit

This was my strongest idea.. at this point.

so giant wanderer in universe was thirsty therefore he melted iceberg on earth to get some water. 

The other idea was that the planet beside earth crashed therefore 

it is radiating a heat before it explode. 

This is kinda similar to the first idea for wanderer

but it is about mad scientist in universe melting iceberg for his experiment.

This idea was based on an Alien chef trying to boil down earth in his soup.

and lastly.. sick monster rabbit from the moon has a fever but it is keen to play on earth therefore it is wandering around the earth radiating heat. 

this was my original ideas :)

I have been really bad keeping on track, after my sickness.

but i do know I have to do something before it is too late.

so my original idea for story narration was..

I didn't quite know what creature or thing I would use so I started to sketch up my idea.
